Having survived the trials of the Labyrinth Tower, Jason Argot is now off to the Academy, the premier center of learning for all Legatio and Centurions. Unlike his years as a prisoner however Jason now has friends to stand by him, but will their love be enough? Wanting nothing more than to become like the Centurions who saved him, Jason is out to prove that he is indeed a man worthy of the love of others. Given his Legatio heritage, does he stand a chance at succeeding? Meanwhile Jason’s guardian Philip is facing his own challenges in deal with his feelings for the Legatio. Does he continue to be the father Jason never had or does Philip follow the passions of his heart and attempt to become the first Centurion in the history of the Empire to receive the loving bond of a Legatio. While Jason starts his studies at the Academy, Senator Perils continues plotting against his Centurion cousins to take control of the Empire away from the ruling Field Marshals. With the Empire now at war with the Western Federation, how much longer can Jason stay safe from the game of politics? Will he end up another one of the Senator’s pawns?
