Gimil-Sin, a young poor fisherman, is unwittingly used as a pawn in a genie's game of revenge. Told from the demon's own point of view, the reader is captivated by the intricate workings of an underworld mind, and the ease with which greedy and arrogant humans fall prey.

We follow the demon as he carves a path for his own purpose and are surprised to see a compassionate, loving side to what history has taught us to believe are vile creatures.
