''Every so often I like to tell stories. I did my best to keep this early collection full of excitement, dry humor, and life near the edge. I struggled in Vietnam with my faith, as well as with many other things. Some of them still persist. My tales are of these times, and also speak of the mean streets of Los Angeles, the rugged wilderness of Alaska, and various places in Korea. Some of them deal with spiritual and supernatural events. During the latter, I was usually caught off guard.

It's my sincere desire that some of my stories will water the seed of faith in the hearts of my readers. Our existence should not be a series of disillusionments and frustrations, but an exciting, faith-filled journey.'' - Dolan Bonnar
