Come, Sit, Stay, best-selling author Ellen Vaughn encourages those who are emotionally drained, burdened, or spiritually hungry to come and rediscover authentic rest in Christ's presence. Embedded within Jesus' call to "Come to Me" is a progression of verbs that actually lead to the result of rest: wonderful, real rest for your soul.
- Come and experience the peace of a secure relationship with Him, right in the midst of chaos or crisis.
- Sit with Christ and know Him in ever deeper dimensions of your soul.
- Stay and delight in a relationship that is always faithful, always present.
Inspiring stories, scriptures, and anecdotes, woven with a light touch, offer penetrating insight and thoughtful consideration of life's big questions. Vaughn's devotional wisdom speaks directly to the heart and nourishes the soul.
Come, Sit, Stay draws you into a deeper conversation with God, with a heartfelt and compelling invitation to come and rest in a richer, simpler spiritual life in Christ.
