Reeling from recent events, friends Gabe Evans and Kyle Davidson are still looking to grasp that ever elusive thing they wish they could call 'normalcy.' Thing is, fate and life rarely fall into sync in such ways. Even after surviving all that has been thrust upon them, destiny still isn't finished with them or their growing families. Gabe, weighed down with the guilt that he is never truly happy and still plagued by his brother's tragic death, struggles with dreams and nightmares of his past and potential future while having to contend with his new wife and raising his brother's children. Kyle, appearing ever happy-go-lucky on the outside, continues to fight his own inner vices and Gabe's ever erratic mentalities while the two try to keep SD Productions up and running. Enter Annie Benton, the woman of Gabe's life-long and never ending dreams. Lead by providence, fraught with frustrations of near misses and a life just beyond their fingertips, it will take more than mere chance to bring them together. The cost, however, may be a burden that none of them could anticipate or handle.
