Wayward Prey

Andrew, a sixteen year old farm boy in rural northern California, comes home to find his parents murdered by roving militants. He must run from his home and flee into the deserts of northern Nevada, making his way to his uncle’s ranch. As the militants pursue him through the sage dotted landscape, Andrew must call upon every last ounce of strength and courage he possesses. But he will face more than just blood thirsty marauders on his journey; he must also contend with a stubborn, opinionated, city-girl, and a vicious creature that hasn't roamed the land in over a century.
