The Watchmen, vol. 2: A Guide to Obadiah, Jonah, & Micah

Centuries before the birth of Christ, God commissioned twelve men to be spokesmen to his people. Some were priests; others were herdsmen, farmers, or bakers. But all of them became Watchmen over Israel--men charged with a message of wrath, repentance, and restoration.

The Minor Prophets saw the invisible, perceived the imperceptible, and heard the very voice of God. Some were sent exclusively to the children of Israel; others were sent out among the Gentiles. But together, these prophets testify God's universal sovereignty, his transcendent purposes, his concern for the down and out, his wrath over wickedness, yet his unfailing love for a broken, rebellious world.
