Melanin: Energy from Light and the Soul's Ascent

It has recently been discovered that the human is phototrophic; meaning that it can create metabolically useful energy from the sun. Melanin is the key biomolecule that allows this reaction to occur. Melanin, along with light and water, is capable of creating energy in the form of ATP.
