Lambs with Manes of Lions is a collection of poetry and prose about the passage of time. About the experience of women that comes with the growing pains of adolescence to adulthood, from love, to violence, to loss, laughter and determination. The book is divided into five themes, spread across seven chapters, where each chapter can stand alone as a pillar of femininity. Confronting different adversities, but inevitably combatting them through sheer determination, perseverance and empowerment, Lambs with manes of Lions takes readers through the trials and tribulations found in one of the most daunting of life’s experiences: adulthood and identity.
