Coexisting Contemporary Civilizations: Arabo-Muslim, Bharati, Chinese and Western (Inu Societal Research Series) (v. 1)

The globe isn't composed of two parts: the Western civilization and the Rest, i.e., the Non-West.

The Arabo-Muslim, Bharati, Chinese and Western civilizations are all living cilivizations.

A civilization has a scriptural, anthropological and material building-block, as well as a distinct axial institution (e.g., the present Western one is a civilization of business).

As a result, international relations also are inter-civilizationa relations and globalization doesn't produce automatically a universal civilization.
