This CD accompanies the workbook (or Arbeitsbuch) of Berliner Platz 1 and supplies the oral material necessary for several of the exercises. It contains scripted and unscripted material. The aural exercises in the workbook are designed to train the student to listen selectively to authentic German texts and test their understanding via controlled tasks, which become more difficult as comprehension level increases.
