Das vorliegende Produkt ist ein Simulationsprogramm für Kardiologen, um die Wirkung von Antiarrhythmika graphisch darzustellen und zu testen. The application of antiarrhythmic drugs has been under discussion for a long time. Their performance depends on a complex set of parameters. The knowledge of these parameters and their relationship to each other is of utmost importance to the scientist and cardiologist. This new product of Springer-Verlag, a combination of floppy-disk and booklet, provides a software program that lets the user simulate and visualize the results of antiarrhythmic drug application under various conditions. The program also allows to compare real EKG-data to a reference set of simulated models. A booklet provides an introduction into the topic as well as a hands-on introduction into the use of the program.
