In recent time much inportance has been given to the treatment of biological pollutants, thus measurement of Assimilable Organic Carbon have become a very important in order to understand the biological stability of the drinking water. Many studies have showed that maintaining the AOC level to a very low concentration is not an easy task but a tedious one. If Assimilable Organic Carbon level is well maintained and confind it would increase the operation lifetime of water distribution system and cut down operation cost.
