Contemporary Ethiopian Amharic Poetry provides a comprehensive thematic and technical analysis of Ethiopian Amharic poetry written from 1991 to 2010. Discussing a number of modern Amharic poets' work, the author aims at to enable both foreign and local literary scholars and students to read, understand, and study Ethiopian poetry.
