Ghana's Oil and Local Livelihoods: A case Study of the Fisher Folks along the Western Coast of Ghana

Discovery and production of oil and gas in commercial quantities in Ghana is barely three years old. however, associated events of the Ghana's emerging oil and gas industry and its interface with local livelihoods particularly, fishing is a course that needs to be re- examined. This book espouses the modalities of fishing and fishing related trades along Ghana's Western Coast and the emerging trends in the oil and gas industry that has impacted on fishing livelihoods.
