Affordability and Quality of Condominium housing development in Ethiopia: Affordability and Quality of Condominium housing development in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia in the case of Bole Sub-city

This research paper is conducted to asses and analyzes the affordability and quality of low cost condominium houses in Addis Ababa , Ethiopia in the case of Bole Sub-city, the place where most of the condominium developments projected. The finding indicated that, while there is considerable success in minimizing the housing problems in Addis Ababa, the project did not achieve its clearly stated objectives to prioritize the low and middle income groups that have less than 600 birr (about 90 $)income per month. Concerning the quality of the condominium houses, this research paper finds out the Addis Ababa Housing Development Project Office is doing well in launching standardized houses that can meet the expectations of its beneficiaries especially in the internal and external parts of condominium houses. The researcher gets a very poor quality level in communal facilities and services of the condominium houses
