OVERCOMING INTERLANGUAGE FOSSILIZATION: New Insights

This book addresses second language acquisition and provides an overview of: (a) interlanguage, (b) fossilization, (c) the theoretical accounts addressing interlanguage fossilization, and (d) achievement motivation. Detailed descriptions of linguistic concepts and models are clearly and vividly presented, and the text assists in identifying factors and dynamics that can enhance English-as-a-Second Language professors' skills and success in the classroom.
