Hepatitis B: Prevalence in Rawalpindi-Islamabad and Rahim Yar Khan-Sadiqabad

Hepatitis B is a serious health threat in different parts of the world. Pakistan is the country with an intermediate prevalence of Hepatitis B (HBV). Only two twin cities were included in the eight month study of patients of Rahim Yar Khan-Sadiqabad and Rawalpindi-Islamabad. In the present study the rate of seroprevalence and risk factors among the patients of Rahim Yar Khan-Sadiqabad and Rawalpindi-Islamabad was determined.
