The Historical Aspects of Arms Smuggling and Human Trafficking in Political Terror System: the case of the Russian Empire at the Turn of the XXth Century (German Edition)

Sowjetunion, European University at St. Petersburg, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: In pre-revolutionary Russia smuggling the weapons, explosives and the illegal human trafficking, formally was included into the number of infringements of the customs regulations though actually pursued the aims of fulfillment of high treasons and crimes against the state administration in the territory of Russia. The scales of fulfillment of such contraband posed direct threat to existence of the state, especially when foreign special services were connected to this process. During the moments of coincidence of internal and external threats there was a natural association of forces and means of external hostile states and the anti-governmental criminal communities operating in the country.
