Informality and Sustainability of Formal Organisations in Zimbabwe: The University of Zimbabwe Experience

Traditional studies in formal organisations erroniously disregarded informal aspects of organisations and viewed them as a pathology to organisational perfomance. This book is path breaking since it gives prominance to informal elements of formal oorganisations. It opines that for African organisations to function and remain functional over time, they should harness informal aspects simultaniously ensuring the much needed goal of sustainable development.
