Fiction and Freedom: Alex La Guma and Apartheid South Africa

By using the Hegelian paradigm, Nwagbara has defly identified how literature can be used to interrogate the human condition in apartheid South Africa, which has been done with Alex La Guma's fiction. This is an important mode of investigation - articulated in the fictive realm - for changing our world that is currently besieged by injustice and social stratification.
