Microstrip patch with metamaterial and radiation horizontal

A microstrip patch antenna have so many advantage as well as drawbacks.2 drawbacks are band with and gain.so improving its bandwidth and gain an idea is given.using a metamaterial ,and pattern the patch and ground plane .to get horizontal radiation. Metamaterial is not naturally occurring material.its only a concept that can apply in even plastic metals etc. metamaterial means negative refractive material.
