Hormonal Control of seedling establishment in Bambusa arundinacea: Seed germination in bamboo

Bamboo seeds generally take longer time in germination. Hence in this book an attempt has been made to enhance the seed germination of Bambusa arundinacea through various plant growth regulators. Out of these plant hormones few have shown good results and improved the seed germination percentage. The seedling growth was also enhanced by application of these plant growth substances. Hormone GA3 was more promotive in the case of germination and early seedling establishment.
