Claudio Silvestrin

The oeuvre of Claudio Silvestrin, the 45 year old London-based architect and designer from italy, is not yet extensive but the projects he has realised are of great qualtiy and have already met with growing appreciation. Silvestrin's work is minimalist, drawing out the basic elegance and clarity of the rooms; his sensitivity to the effects of light and color produce visually-compelling solutions as can be seen in his work for the White Cube and the Hayward Gallery in London, the interior design for Calvin Klein or the Neuendorf House on Mallorca. This publication is an in-depth presentation of Silvestrin's complete oeuvre to date, attractively illustrated and analysed in text. The layout of the book was designed by the renowned graphic designer from Milan, A.G. Fronzoni, and captures the essesce of Silvestrin's work.
