Afrikan Builders Of Civilization, A Pictorial History of Famous Personalities from Ancient Egypt)

INTRODUCTION Afrikan Builders of Civilization is an effort on the part of Kemet Nu Productions to bring"our story" to life. Based on our travels, research, study and conducting tours on the Afrikan continent, we have seen the positive effect of visual communications in reconstructing the true history of Afrikan people. Visual imagery is our way of combating the distortions that have been perpetrated in the minds of our people by European-dominated power holders. The educational systems and the media have bombarded the world with the concept of Kemet(Egypt) as a"white" civilization. The proponents of this theory have gone so far as to take Kemet(Egypt) out of Afrika, (although it's clearly there on any map) and have called it the"Middle East." Afrikan Builders of Civilization disproves visually, the fallacy and the racism that has been entrenched in the study of European Egyptology. It presents some of our illustrious Afrikan ancestors, many of whom have been eliminated from the history books. This pictorial also gives information on their accomplishments and a brief synopsis of the period in which they lived. We hope that this pictorial will serve as an introduction to the ancestors and even work as a tool to combat the non-believers who continue to believe anything that a European-dominated system promotes.
