Robust Nonlinear Control Systems Design: Application to Nonlinear Processes

Real chemical processes have inherent nonlinearities as part of their characteristics. Consequently, designing model-based controllers for these processes will become a challenge especially in the nonlinear operating region during setpoint changes or disturbance rejections. This book provides a design framework for control systems which not only address process nonlinearities, but also guarantee robustness of the models being used in designing the controllers.
