The EU Charter of Fundamental Rights: The thorny road from Cologne to Lisbon

Cast along the premise that the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights is an instance of EU politics and international human rights codification, this book focuses on its creation: from the mandate of Cologne to the eventual outcome of Lisbon.
