Pakistan's Security Policy after 9/11: At Domestic, Regional and International Level

After the event of 9/11, Pakistan took a number of steps in enhancing its security; the most important is the cooperation with US in War against Terrorism by taking U turn over its pre 9/11 Afghan policy while it is endeavoring to normalize its relations with India. At the domestic level, Musharraf Government took a lot of steps to strengthen its campaign in War against Terrorism and gave unstinted support to US in this regard. The basic purpose of this study is to analyses the steps taken by the Pakistan Government at domestic, regional and international level after the event of 9/11 and the impacts of these steps about the security of Pakistan.This book is equally good for the students of security studies as well as for the policy makers and professionals.
