📖 Description
This work was undertaken to describe the various features of gut morphology of some mammalian species feeding on different diets. The investigated animals including the long eared hedgehoge, frugivores bat, mice, rabbit and dog. The study was also extended to investigate the gastrointestinal mucosa uses the light, scanning and transmission electron microscopy in an attempt to explain the histological and ultrastructural adaptations responsible for the digestive and absorptive capacities of the intestines of the studied species.
