Stress Vulnerability and Anthropometric Characteristics of Sportsmen: Belonging to Individual, Combative and Team Game (Book is Based on Ph. D. Thesis, BHU,INDIA, 2010)

This Book is based on a research study which was conducted to determine the Stress Vulnerability and selected Anthropometric Characteristics among Individual, Combative and Team Game Players. Another purpose of the study was to compare Individual, Combative and Team Game Players by their Stress Vulnerability and selected Anthropometric Characteristics. The subjects for this study were selected from the Inter-varsity Tournaments. A total of 450 male subjects were selected, 150 from each category i.e. Individual, Combative and Team Games. The Static Group Comparison Design was used for the study. Three groups were made as Individual, Combative and Team Games. To determine the Stress Vulnerability and selected Anthropometric Characteristics among the Individual, Combative and Team Game Players, Descriptive Statistics was used. To compare Individual, combative and Team Game Players by their Stress Vulnerability and selected Anthropometric Characteristics, One-Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) was used and the level of significance was set at 0.05 level.
