Screening of golden shower leaves for biological activity: Hepatoprotective and antioxidant activity screening

Majority of the studies are done on the other parts of the plants like bark, fruit and flower, and methods employed for the study is costly as by making use of high cost chemicals and equipments. The belief behind this book is to bring in one new method of screening the activity of plant parts for laboratory experiments at academic level. In this book different approach towards screening of biological activities like Antioxidants and Hepatoprotective has been included. Significance of this approach is proven in this study by comparing the effects and the extract of the plant part i.e. leaf, of high cost chemicals and conventional chemicals. In which conventional chemicals gives significant effect and presence of responsible constituents in it.
