Information and Communication Technology for Special Education: Application of Artificial Intelligence Techniques, Theory of Automata and Software Development for Special Education

Special Education is important for special persons who are partially or total handicapped with disabilities such as blindness, deafness .Education may be important at individual level, group level or in a class room. off-course special education methods are designed to cater the need of different types of special persons. This research work concerned entire problems with special education very common in all over the world especially in developing countries. This facts compelled the author as a IT and Computer Scientist to do some plausible efforts to overcome some of the problems of special persons such as lack of homogeneous system of education in which special persons may have the same environment of learning as a common/normal student. This research work propose Homogeneous Educational System by the use of Artificial Techniques and information technology. This includes, voice-to- text ,text-to-symbols and Text-to-Speech conversion along with ANN and HMM. The research work is beneficial for the instructor or guardian of special persons also for special persons and other researcher who are interested to work with IT and special education collaboration system.
