The Implementation of Teachers'CPD: In General Secondary Secondary schools of East Showa Zone, Ethiopia

There are changing times in education systems around the world.With the start of new millennium, many societies are engaging in serious and promising educational reforms.One key elements of those reforms is the implementation of Teachers' CPD,which is the central to the educational practices in developing world.This paper illustrates the idea of Teachers' CPD is lifelong process which begins with initial preparation and continuous until retirement.Therefore,paper reviews different models and practices of Teachers' CPD and other learning experiences that enhance teachers' practices and professionalism through out their lives.Despite restrictions,the paper is useful guide to educational leaders, teacher educators and other stakeholders, who are working in the area of education.
