Pterospermum acerifolium: Chemical and Biological investigations

Pterospermum acerifolium belonging to the family of Sterculiaceae has been studied. The work was carried out for isolation of it’s secondary metabolites and evaluation of biological activities of it’s bark with special emphasis on antioxidant activity, cytotoxicity, and antimicrobial activity The isolated compounds were identified by extensive analyses of their high resolution proton-NMR spectroscopic data.
