Impact of ILO Conventions on Indian Labour Legislation: Labour Laws

The ILO is being established for the well being of industrial wage earners both physical and intellectual. It worked with an owed objective of universal lasting peace and harmony. The ILO's meaning, nature and activities centre around three words : Peace, Social Justice and Labour. This study is to analyse the potency of the ILO as an instrument of social progress and to examine the magnitude of influence of ILO Conventions on Indian Labour Legislation.
