Education of Disadvantaged Girls: Elementary education, Girls' education, Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidhyalaya Yojana

Growth of a country can be ascertained by the growth of its education system and elementary education is an important pillar of whole education system. So, elementary education and the growth and development of a country is very much related. The elementary education for disadvantaged girls is still an issue to be focused. In regard of this Government of India (GOI) has been trying to improve the condition of elementary education ,especially of girl children with the help of various schemes and Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidhyalaya Yojana (KGBVY) is one of these scheme so as to make society inclusive and just.This dissertaion is a case study of a girl school running KGBVY.
