Merozoite surface protein is a promising vaccine candidate of malaria on which many cross-sectional or longitudinal research has been done so far.The Antibody to a merozoite surface antigen-2 of plasmodium falciparum malaria is age dependent and mostly against the central variable domains of this antigen so called domains 2 and 3. such Immunity can lead to a protective response against the severe form of malaria disease.
