Diversity of the Genus Gaultheria L. (Ericaceae) in India: Insights from exomorphology, anatomy, pollen-morphology, ethnobotany and ethnopharmacognosy

The book entitled, "Diversity of the genus Gaultheria L. (Ericaceae) in India" provides a detailed taxonomic revision of the genus Gaultheria L. in India including 22 species, of which 3 are new to science. Most of these species are common to its neighbouring countries viz., Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, China and Myanmar. Therefore, it is helpful to these countries also. An artificial key to the species is also provided for easy identification in the field as well as in the herbarium. Each species is provided with a detailed taxonomic citations incl. types, distribution and status as well as exomorphological,anatomical and pollen-morphological descriptions.
