Genetic studies in Ivy gourd: Variability,Heritability,Genetic Advance, Correlation and path analysis

Ivy gourd is one of the important under utilized cucubitaceous crop and is grown in Eastern & Southern parts of India mainly for its consumption and medicinal value. In this important crop, so far, very little attention has been paid for its improvement in India There is a need to develop an ideal variety suited to varied agro climatic conditions with higher yield and better quality characteristics. This book contains the genetic studies on the crop that includes the nature of gene action, heritability ,association and path analysis of quantitative and qualitative characters, through evaluation of different ecotypes.
