Numerical modelling and investigating the dynamic characteristics of induction through-heaters for metal strip and slabs

The presented work is devoted to numerical modelling and investigatingthe dynamic characteristics of induction through-heaters for metal stripand slabs. Nowadays investigation of these installations is mainly concentratedon their operation in "quasi" steady-state modes. However,analysis of industrial practice shows that various kinds of transient processesin induction heating installations cover a significant portion oftotal operation time. (...)
