Mmiri a zoro nwayo nwayo (Softly, it rained). Poems written in the Igbo Language, with english translations. Igbo is the language spoken by the Igbo People of south-eastern Nigeria. The poems in this volume are modern poems written in Igbo, composed by the Igbo poet Che Chidi Chukwumerije, a writer and musician, representing his love for his language and his contribution to the collective desire of many Africans that their ancient languages find also written anchorage, that they do not fade away, suffering the fate of many a tongue which in the past was also only propagated orally.
