Kwame's Poems. Kwame Ekwueme Chukwumerije did not live long on this earth. He was 19 when he died in a car accident in Eastern Nigeria in 1995. However, although his time was short, he in his last months and years had begun to develop a taste and a need for poetry. In this collection are a selection of his poems and thoughts, written down in the last two years of his life.
