📖 Description
Synopsis of Operation Barbarossa--German Invation of Russia in 1941: The conflict between Hilter (with his Nazi Party) and Russia is unavoidable. On December 18, 1940, Hitler signed top-secret Order No. 21 containing a final plan of attacking Russia. This order had the overall aim of launching a campaign to Russia in May, 1941. The original code of this risky operation was ""Otto und Fritz"" without any special meaning. Therefore, Germany decided to rename this operation with a code having historical significance, and the Nazi supreme commander recommended ""Barbarossa"" for this millitary offensive aimed to seize the eastern front.
