The main plan covers the central part of the city between Verbindingskanaal in the north and Sint-Pieters train station in the south. The plan is indexed and shows one way streets and main traffic arteries. Places of interest such as museum and churches are highlighted and annotated with numbers referring to descriptions provided on the reverse of the map.

On the reverse, three most attractive areas around Veldstraat, Vrijdagmarkt and historic Kuip van Gent, with all the city's most famous sights, are shown enlarged and annotated with a selection of interesting sites, restaurants and shops.
