Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing

Using computers in manufacturing is receiving particular prominence as industries seek to improve product quality, increase productivity and to reduce inventory costs. Therefore, the emphasis has been attributed to the subject of CAD and its integration with CAM. Designed as a textbook for the undergraduate students of mechanical engineering, production engineering and industrial engineering, it provides a description of both the hardware and software of CAD/CAM systems.
