Study of “Environment and Ecology” is indispensable for all citizens of the world. It is through this study that one learns about the natural resources, their impact on all sorts of life, and the effect of pollution on the eco-system. The knowledge will help us to protect our environment for the present and the future generations. The need for a new edition of the book was felt due to a very good response from the students and teachers and their suggestions which have been taken care of. In this edition new ideas have been incorporated for much better understanding of the environment and ecology and their impact on the human civilization. A new chapter on Population and Natural Resources has been added for a hoslistic study of the subject. Solved questions of B.Tech, BCA and MCA are also provided at the end to update students for solving various questions in the university examination.
