Miser (Jataka Tales)

The Jataka Tales are a collection of stories from the Buddha’s previous life. The stories are simple yet deal with life’s deep truths. The Jataka Tales were written to instil and maintain moral values in society and they continue to play this role even today.Ghasiram loves the smell of pancakes but as it happens he loves his money even more. The miserable miser spends hours evolving a plan on how to make the pancakes and not share them with anyone, even his own family! Just when he feels he has the situation under control, a mysterious visitor changes it all.
