The study of dairy farming has been virtually ignored by our researchers and the material generated on this aspect in both insufficient and insignificant. With the intorduction of White Revolution in our country, the studies concerned with dairy farming have gained momentum. But no geographcial research work has been conducted on dairy farming have gained momentum. But no geographical research work has been conducted on dairy development in India. Son in order to fulfill this gap the presetn book will be of immense importance to geographers, research scholars, policy makers, animal husbandry departments and government agencies. About Author : Dr. Harmeet Singh, presently working at Kashmir University has got his M.A., B.Ed., M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees from Kahsmir University. he got training in Digital Cartography and Geographical Information System (GIS) from Survey of India, Hyderabad.
