Land Acquisition, Displacement and Resettlement in Gujarat: 1947-2004 is the first ever detailed analysis of the land acquired for development projects and its impact on the displaced and project affected persons of Gujarat from 1947 to 2004. Part of a national study on the DIDR (Development Induced Displacement and Resettlement) in India, it has based its findings on gazette notifications issued by Government of Gujarat and covered 139 development projects.
