Value of Brahmacharya

Brahmacharya is a course of conduct that keeps the mind on Brahman or God. According to Swami Vivekananda: "The chaste brain has tremendous energy and gigantic will-power. Without chastity there can be no spiritual strength."

The essay was written on the occasion of the 150th Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda's Birth by Swami Tathagatananda, the head of the Vedanta Society of New York.
